Department of Business Economics and Banking: Student Research Research Conference and Poster Competition: First Prize Winners
The IBS Business School Pune organized a Research Conference and Poster Competition on
the topic “Multidisciplinary Approach to Data Analytics” on Oct 14, 2023.
Ms. Nidhi Mundada, student of TYBCOM, Banking Specialization won the Second Prize for
Best Paper in the Student Category, along with a cash prize of Rs. 3000/-. Ms. Nidhi
Mundada presented a paper titled ‘A Review of the handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic in
India from the Big Data Perspective.’
Ms. Riya Baretto and Ms. Jyotishree Raut, TYBCOM, Banking Specialization, also
participated in the Research Conference and presented papers titled ‘Waste Management in
India: How Big Data can provide Better Solutions’ and ‘Revolutionizing Health Care: Big
Insights from Big Data.’respectively. The research papers were published in the Conference
Proceedings.
